Arrival of the Great Brotherhood of the Coast Fleet in Galveston!

We have a fantastic week planned, and can’t wait to show you our Texas-style American hospitality! Times have been difficult for us all, and this ZAF is long overdue.  We encourage all who can to come and celebrate finally being able to reunite with our Brothers and Captives/First Mates from around the world.

Day 1
Sunday March 5

Festivities begin in the afternoon with Registration and Meet and Greet at the luxurious San Luis Resort Spa and Conference Center, located on the seawall of Galveston. Come as you are in your travel clothes and catch up with friends you haven’t seen in years.

Day 2
Monday March 6

Our first full day starts with a hearty Southern-style breakfast buffet, then we are off to the home of US National Captain Richard (“Pescador”) Hoekstra and his Captive Traci for Texas-style fun.  We’ll have snacks and drinks when we get there to tide us over.  Participate in dance lessons or just enjoy listening to music, meeting new friends, and catching up with old ones.  Later will be a barbecue and “country/western” dance, with plenty of cold beer.  We’ll spread out on the Hoekstras’ big yard and take turns enjoying a drink in their own pirate bar.  Wear your cowboy hat, pirate gear, or whatever you are comfortable with!

 Day 3

Tuesday March 7

We’ll have another large breakfast buffet, then hop on the buses again and head to tour Space Center Houston/NASA.  We will enjoy Space Capsule, the Lunar Module, Rocket Park, and other exhibits.  After NASA we will head to the Kemah Boardwalk for dinner at a beautiful waterside restaurant.  Enjoy relaxing or walking around this 60-acre theme park built along Galveston Bay.  The adventurous can experience the intense Boardwalk Bullet roller coaster or one of the other hair-raising rides.  Dress is comfortable casual again today.
